About me
Konstant Imagery whole heartedly depicts who I am as a person. Foremost, because my full given name is ‘Konstantina’, but, on saying this, please call me Dina, as it is the name I prefer and the name that I am known by.
So, when I chose my new photography business name I played on words and came up with- ‘Konstant Imagery’ a name that supports my birth name and my Greek heritage.
15 years ago I packed my artistic flare, my love for mixed media, an abundance of acrylic paints plus my trusty camera and moved to Auckland from Adelaide South Australia.
On a business level, I come from a sales and marketing background and now have the opportunity to pursue my personal interests in a creative world.
Biography
Auckland based freelance photographer.
Dina's creative passion compliment's her Fine-Art, Still Life & Lifestyle Photography.
Inspired by nature, Dina's floral and seascape's not only highlight nature’s textures but also emphasises its very dreamy and beautiful life.
Dina loves crafting and creating unique effects in her imagery by combining Multiple Exposure's, ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and using in-camera techniques.
Capturing movement and motion in time, not only allows Dina, but also the viewer to escape from reality by weaving its way through either pretence, clarity or both.
Bringing fluidity into still-life and exploring all angles of what exactly we are looking at through the lens of a camera, we too, in our own mind’s eye, wonder at the visual and emotional aspects of what we are actually looking at.
Whispers of shapes, colour and calm seas touch you with a sense of wonder.
